Wow!  This year is flying by!  There is alot going on around here, so be sure to get out your calendar!

FREE YOGA FOR CANCER PATIENTS CONTINUES ON WEDNESDAY MORNINGS AT 9AM AND SATURDAY MORNINGS AT 10AM AT THE JACKSONVILLE BEACH LOCATION!  Please RSVP each week to which sessions you will attend as a courtesy to our instructors.  They donate their time.


Two BIG CHEERS for two of our Jacksonville staff.  Sandi Lundin and Juliann Gaus-Graeser passed their certification examinations and are now Certified Mastectomy Fitters!  This required 500 fitting hours, taking courses and passing the exam.  Good work, ladies!  We are now proud to have 5 certified fitters on the In the Pink staff.

Congratulations to Marty Millard, the Head Coach of our Jacksonville Dragon Boat Club for being chosen for  the USA DRAGON BOAT TEAM!!   Marty will be on the Senior B (Over 50) Mixed Team.  This is a huge accomplishment.  We are very proud of you.   

If you are interested in learning to paddle, join the Jacksonville Dragon Boat Club!  We have teams for everyone, regardless of age or fitness level.  We also have one team, the Mammoglams, that is made up of all breast cancer survivors!  This is a great way to have fun and exercise with other women who understand your journey. August 1, 2015:  One Musical Note tribute to cancer survivors.  The Jacksonville Landing.  10am-2pm.

August 9, 2015:  Save the Ferry Bike Ride, 9am-Noon, Mellow Mushroom in Jacksonville Beach.  More information at  $20 to participate…for a great cause!

August 15, 2015:  Join the party to celebrate Marty Millard’s 2015 Team USA Dragon Boat participation.  Let’s give him a big send-off!!!  Join us at Taco Lu’s at 11:30am…wear your USA colors!!!!  Marty will be competing in the World Championships in Welland, Canada from August 19-23.

August 29, 2015:  Come to the River Ruckus festival at Riverside Arts Market from 10am-4pm.  Stop by our Jacksonville Dragon Boat Club tent and visit or just hang out and watch our dragon boat exhibitions at 11am and 3pm.  This is a great festival with lots of entertainment.

November 20, 2015:  Join us for a very special evening!  In the Pink is partnering with Love Brigade and Julie Ryan Photography to present “Walk of the Warriors,” a fashion show featuring cancer survivors of all types.  Jesse Ball duPont Center, 40 East Adams Street, Jacksonville.  6:30 pm Cocktails, 7:30 pm Show.  $50 General Admission, $75 VIP.  Proceeds to benefit In the Pink.  More information to come!
