DRAGON BOAT PADDLING is offered by In the Pink for people with or without cancer. We want everyone to participate! We have several teams…our breast cancer team is called the Mammoglams and our other teams are the Saltwater Slayers. Our teams have never walked away from a festival without a medal! We are competitive, yet keep it fun. A paddler must be 14 years or older. Our youngest paddler is 16 years old and we have two people who are 74 years old. Paddling is for everyone, no matter the age, athletic prowess, or experience paddling. We have three fabulous coaches who are very experienced. In the Pink sponsors our boats, as well as Cypress Property & Casualty and Beach Marine. Our teams are also the hosts for the annual Jacksonville Dragon Boat Festival, which is the signature fundraiser for In the Pink. For more information about our teams, visit www.inthepinkdragonboats.com or call Marty Millard at 904-536-3475. You can also learn more about our Jacksonville festival by visiting www.jacksonvilledragonboatfestival.com. Get involved and get bit by the dragon!
