FREE YOGA CLASSES for cancer patients will continue on Wednesday at 5pm and Saturday at 10am.  As a courtesy each week, please RSVP to sallie@jaxinthepink.net.  These classes fill quickly, so do not forget to RSVP.  If you would like to be added to our weekly reminder for this class, please email sallie@jaxinthepink.net.

February 15-16th:  Please visit is at Booth #10 at the 26.2 with Donna Expo at the Prime Osborn.  Always great shopping!

February 17th:  6th Annual 26.2 with Donna Race to End Breast Cancer!  If you are not a participant, be sure to get out your cowbells and horns and cheer on the racers and walkers of this event.  The funds are all donated to research at the Mayo Clinic to find a cure for this dreaded disease.

February 21st:  6-9 pm at Blackcreek Outfitters:  Pint Night to support North Florida Land & Trust. 

February 23rd:  10:30 am.  Come one, come all breast cancer survivors!  In the Pink & the First Coast Dragon Boat Association invite you to an introductory paddle in our fabulous dragon boats.  Please RSVP to Jeri at jeri@jaxinthepink.net so we can distribute new paddlers throughout the boats and pair them with an experienced paddler.  All PFD’s (Personal Flotation Devices) and paddles are provided.  This is a free event!  Join us behind Billy’s Boathouse on Beach Blvd. next to Nipper’s.  This is such an exciting sport!  Our breast cancer team, the Mammoglams, are having a great time as a team.  We have all ages, from early 20’s to mid-70’s.  Anyone can participate in this sport.  All fitness levels are allowed.  Come and bring all of your other breast cancer survivor friends!

The inaugural Jacksonville Dragon Boat Festival will be held at the Jacksonville Landing on September 21, 2013!  Be a part of this.  If you are interested in helping on our host committee, please contact Jeri at jeri@jaxinthepink.net or Sallie at sallie@jaxinthepink.net.  (need not be a paddler to be on the committee)
